Clients can help reduce storage charges by providing complete documents early, confirming delivery details in advance, ensuring someone is available to receive cargo, arranging timely payment of duties, VAT, and release charges, and advising Sebenza of any special handling or delivery requirements before the cargo arrives.

Cargo is not always automatically insured while in storage. The level of cover depends on the warehouse’s terms, the transport or storage arrangement, and whether separate marine, goods-in-transit, or warehouse insurance has been arranged.
